記者稱，里夫斯將成為自由球員，即使他計劃留在湖人，他也幾乎不可能執(zhí)行價值1490萬美元的球員選項，里夫斯想要和希羅一樣的年薪（即3000萬美元左右）。

希羅目前的合同還剩兩年，新賽季他的薪資為3100萬美元，2026-27賽季薪資為3300萬美元。
